I am a director with a passion for character-driven stories that champion inclusivity and equal opportunity - both in front of and behind the camera.
Born and raised in Switzerland, I toured the theatre festivals of Europe as a young actor before moving to Australia to complete formal training as a performer. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, I worked across stage and screen before shifting my focus to behind the camera.
Fuelled by a passion for gender parity and political courage in screen stories, I decided to diversify by stepping behind the camera and applied to the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School for the Masters of Directing.
Sweet Tooth is my graduating project. It is a dark and magical fairytale inspired by the well-known story of 'Hansel & Gretel’ by the Brothers Grimm. Narrated by Cate Blanchett and winner of the CILECT CAPA Prize 2019 for Best Fiction and the Nicholas Baudin Award for Best Short in St. Tropez. ‘Sweet Tooth’ started its festival journey at Cannes ‘Cinema des Antipodes’ is currently on the international circuit.
